Following the Voltaire principle “all genres are good except boring,” Renar did not divide the literature into “high” and “low”: his works violate the usual logic of the development of the plot and combine entertainment and intellectuality. It is no coincidence that Renar was popular not only among readers, but also among literary critics, and in the 21st century he was called the “brilliant predecessor of modern science fiction” (“Dictionary of detective literature” edited by Claude Izpeleda, 2003). His work had a noticeable influence on the subsequent development of genre literature and largely anticipated the plots of the famous fantastic works of the Golden Age.

The real edition included the novels “Dr. Lern, Polobog” (1908), “Blue threat” (1912), “Light Lord” (1933), as well as the novels “Opera singer”, “Glory to Komakko” , “Mr. de Corpse, noble physicist” and “noise in the mountains.”
