The debut story of the screenwriter and director of Islam Hanipaev was written on behalf of an eight -year -old boy living in Makhachkala. Having lost his mother and put on attacks at school, the hero finds support from an imaginary friend - cool Ali. He is preparing to become a “great warrior” and goes in search of his father.

This is not only a story about injury and overcoming it, this is a book about growing up and accepting the difficult truth by a hero, to whom you unconditionally believe and empathize.

The story “Type I” became the finalist of the Lyceum Prize, entered the short lists of the “nose” premiums (2021), “National bestseller” (2022) and “Yasnaya Polyana” (2022).
