Lileynik is a grassy rhizome perennial. The total height of the plant varies in the range from 30 to 100 cm. Beautiful mucous-yellowed, narrow, drooping leaves form a powerful bush, decorative to frosts. The subordinate roots of the lilenika are lace -like, usually fleshy, thick, this helps the plants survive in drought. Blooms in July-August. The total duration of flowering is about three weeks. The plant throws tall, sometimes in the upper part of branchy, peduncles. The flowers are funnel, six separate, collected in sprawling inflorescences, a flower lives for one day, but every day is new. At the same time in the inflorescence, up to three flowers blooms. The flowers exude a very pleasant aroma, which at night becomes thicker.
