Montego Bay lilies resemble stars. The same bright, shining, alluring. Orange flowers with a contrasting yellow-gold center and a border exude an incredibly sweet aroma! Fans of fragrant lilies should plant manto bay closer to the front door to the house, and those who are not very pleasant to apply it for distant landings. But one way or another, it is necessary to plant this variety: the color combination is really very rare, especially since the flowers are very large (diameter 20 cm) and long -flowering. At the same time, every year they grow higher and higher. And already in the third year, planting can grow up to 2.2 m! The main thing is to put Montego Bay in good conditions, which is absolutely easy.

Height 120-150 cm.

Agricultural technology: Lilies can be grown in one place (without transplantation) for 3-5 years.

Lilia is selected for landing places well protected from strong winds (however, well ventilated), with a solar location or partial partial shade. The soils should be well drained (lilies cannot stand stagnation of water in the roots), loose and fertile. Before planting, the soil is treated to a depth of 35-40 cm, fertilizer is added.

The depth of the bulb:

• for low-growing varieties (large bulbs) -10-12 cm, with a distance between bulbs 15-20 cm; 
• for medium-sized varieties (large bulbs)-12-15 cm, with a distance between bulbs 20-25 cm; 
• for tall varieties (large bulbs)-15-20 cm, with a distance between bulbs 25-30 cm.

make holes at the bottom of which are poured sand, distribute bulbs, sprinkle the roots with a small amount of sand, and fill them with the soil. Sand helps to protect the bulb from excessive moisture and infections located in the ground. Plot with bulbs are watered.

annually in the fall on areas with lilies, it is recommended to make well-rotted compost. In areas with a harsh climate, landing lilies is covered with a spruce branch with a layer of 15-20 cm. In the spring, when the threat of frost passes, the shelter is removed.

The subsequent care lies in periodic watering (once every 7-10 days), feeding and loosening of the soil. At the end of the season, peduncles are cut at an earth level.
