Lira for wild animals. Semenenko-Basin I.
The third poetic book of I. Semenenko-Basin (born in 1966 in Moscow), the heir to Russian unofficial poetry of the 1920-1960s, is able to surprise with the multi-language and unusualness of the versification. Semenenko-Basin has careful vision and tenacious hearing, his poems attract the reader with depth and grace. Particularly attractiveness creates a soft, non -heated design of texts, when the gesture and sound only indicate half -wild meanings.
The poetic book of Semenenko-Basina again invites on a journey through the landscapes of the poet’s personal history, to language spaces, where the fleeting perception and instant awareness of everyday life are realized. Some of the poems included in the book were previously published in the magazines: “The magazine of poets”, 2013, No. 9 (53); Lava, 2014, No. 21; "Guideon", 2015, No. 11; "Volga", 2015, No. 9-10; In the Almanac "Wednesday" (Tula, 2015).
