The book proposed to the reader contains extracts from the last diary of the Holy Righteous John of Kronstadt for 1907-1908. In this collection of prayer-senior thoughts of the Kronstadt shepherd, he himself entitled the “Living Colos”, “About the faith and the Church of the Orthodox, about the attitude of modern Christians to faith and the Church”, depicts “The Way of the Christian from Earth to Heaven, the Way of Liberation from Sin, and Ascent to God through the fulfillment of the commandments of Christ. ” The last chapter contains thoughts in which the holy righteous John of Kronstadt says "about his spiritual mood, the struggle with the enemy of salvation, about the desire for God."
