Lobelia flowers ampelous "Blue Cascade", 0.01 g

A grassy plant with abundantly flowering, flowing shoots 30-35 cm long. Flowers are dark blue, up to 2 cm in diameter, two-luminous, on short pedunks, one in the sinuses of leaves. Blooms from June to September. The duration and abundance of flowering increase with the timely removal of faded stems. Propagated with seeds, sowing which is performed in February-March. The seeds of the lobelia are small, therefore, for the uniformity of crops, they are mixed with dry sand in a ratio of 1:50 and not covered in the soil. Seedlings are planted in open ground in the second half of May-June. They are grown in vases, pots, balcony boxes, hanging baskets. Used as ground cover plants.
