“Lonely sail white” is one of the best works by Valentin Kataev. The book was published in 1936, withstood a lot of reprints, and twice filmed. In the homeland of the writer, in Odessa, a monument was erected by its legendary heroes - Petya and Gavrik. The book involves readers in the bright world of children's impressions, colored with warm colors of the Black Sea, into the world exciting, and sometimes dangerous adventures of two Odessa boys, small witnesses and participants in the thundercloud events of the first Russian revolution.
