Long life of Kamikadze. Tarasova M.B.
This book is the first large prose of Marina Tarasova, known to the reader for the publications of stories in literary magazines and poetic collections. The main storyline of the work is the difficult fate of the Muscovite, traced from childhood to adulthood. To the heroine who grew up in an incomplete family, in poverty, to the accompaniment of eternal showdowns between mother and grandmother, after the first unsuccessful novel comes disappointment; In all her troubles, in the collapse of her personal life, she blames the mother, whom she refuses, and the powerful grandmother, expressing a protest against the “wrong” life of the granddaughter, commits suicide. In addition to everyday drama, the novel has two lines in the style of fantasy-about the stay in the parallel world of the Japanese pilot-Kamikadze and about the time of the Muscovite-Starichka, which is either at the funeral of the pharaoh Akhnatan, then in the wards of Ivan the Terrible, then in the Kremlin behind him Stalin.
Such an interweaving of the story of the Moscow life of the second half of the twentieth century with a description of the line of real being reflects the author’s thoughts about the illusory nature of our world.
