In the very center of Moscow, between the Big Lubyanka and Myasnitskaya Street, an old building was lost, known for experts in architecture and local historians as the “Loris-Melikov’s House”-a classic Moscow mansion of the mid-19th century, one of the few really retained their primordial and spirit of their time. The building was built in 1840 by an outstanding architect Mikhail Domedontovich Bykovsky. The two -story building in the spirit of late classicism was created by him in memory of the early left beloved wife. The author of Lola Stoletov talks about many years of turnout in the struggle to preserve the house as the cultural heritage of Russia-and creates this album book in memory of his wife, which was a great ascetic in preserving the Russian heritage.
