Alexey Arnoldovich Purin (b. 1955, Leningrad) - poet, essayist, translator, publisher of the poetic heritage of N. L. Upers. Since 1989, he has been headed by the Poetry Department, and since 2002, also the department of criticism of the St. Petersburg magazine "Star". In 1995-2009 Co -editor of the literary almanac "URBI". The author of two dozen poetic collections and three essays books. Nine translations of translations were published. The laureate of the North Palmyra Prize (1996, 2002) and others. The works were printed in translations into many European languages.
The book contains essential works of 1989-2022. The author’s focus is Russian poetry from Trediakovsky and Lomonosov to Denis Novikov and Boris Ryzheoy.
