Lost World

The author of famous stories and novels about Sherlock Holmes Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote incredibly interesting works in the genre of science fiction. “Marakotova abyss”, “Poisoned belt”, “The discovery of Rafls Haw” and, of course, “The lost peace”!

The story was written on behalf of the reporter of the daily London newspaper, but its main hero is eccentric, possessing a rabid Temperament and powerful intelligence, Professor Challenger. It is he who collects an expedition to the jungle of South America in search of the Earth, on which the Fauna of the Jurassic period has been preserved. Terrible creatures inhabit this world - predatory dinosaurs, human rights, poisonous insects. Will a person of the twentieth century withstand them?
