1970s. In the city of Vorozh, the eleven -year -old schoolgirl Lush River disappears without a trace. 1933. Cambridge botanist Christopher Wesker, with his wife Hannah and little daughter Alice, goes to the Soviet Union to take part in the creation of a grandiose city-garden. These events are connected in the most unexpected way. After many decades of separation, Hannah returns to the crowd in the hope of finding a daughter, at the age of six, who got into an orphanage.
