Mack has just lost his job and is now walking daily along El-Koyota, the Barcelona district, where he lives. He is obsessed with his neighbor, a well -known and recognized writer, and once hearing, as he talks about his debut work “Walter and his ordeal”, full of incongruous excerpts, Mack decides to change and improve this first novel, which his neighbor would prefer to forget.

And while the main character wanders around the neighborhood, talking about the little exploits of neighbors in the triumph partly hallucinated triviality, the mate-matas finally destroys the barrier between literature and life.
