The literary and artistic and political magazine "Youth" has been published since 1955.

At different times, such wonderful poets and prose writers as Anna Akhmatova, Evgeny Yevtushenko, Nikolai Rubtsov, were published in the "Youth". Vasily Aksyonov, Boris Vasiliev, Yunna Moritz, Novella Matveeva, Joseph Brodsky, Sasha Sokolov, Yuri Kuznetsov, Anatoly Aleksin, Kirill Kovalji and many others - almost the entire color of our multinational literature. Our editorial council included such masters as Bella Akhmadulina, Andrei Voznesensky, Valery Zolotukhin, and now Lev Anninsky, George Pryakhin, Anna Gedymin, Zoya Boguslavskaya, Elena Isaeva and others continue to work. This is the beginning for those who only try their strength in the field of prose and poetic art.

the magazine is read with interest “just for themselves”, and to understand the current difficult everyday situation.

"Youth" maintains close contacts with young writers of the regions of Russia and other countries and sets itself the task of searching for new literary names.
