The time to which the real story belongs belongs not only to the wonderful, but also to the peculiar eras of our history. At the end of the 18th century, Russia unexpectedly acted as a defender of the Roman Catholic Church, more precisely, its two orders-Jesuits and Maltese. Their representatives not only found the patron represented by Emperor Pavel Petrovich, but also began to influence the foreign policy of Russia and the country's domestic life.
