Looking openly at life, we were looking for good and encouraging in it. Before the war, we, of course, played the war, bravely rushing into children's attacks against neighboring boys. But we could not know anything about what would happen to us if they declare a real war to us. Everything was done very quickly: the father in the very first weeks left for the front and we stayed with his mother alone. Our little room has become a haven for us - lonely and homeless without a father.

Mom then became for me to everyone, although it might not know those difficult times that she only patiently fulfilled her maternal duties: while I was small, she helped me dress, fed, tied a scarf in the cold, In the morning I led me to my hand to school, but I led me so that I could, like a restrained horse, dozing, moving my legs. In fact, she saved me and continued my life, did the same as my father in the war, only this salvation did not look like something unusual: the mommy ran to me from her hospital to feed it as soon as possible, and maybe before, before, before All, to see that I am alive and well and wait for her.

My mother has long been gone, and that terrible war has long ended. But for some reason, I cannot forget even the smallest trifles that consisted of our rear life. Moreover, the older I become, the more they are approaching me. As if someone says, reminds me: do not forget, do not forget! Tell others, new people.

And now I have once again tell the children of new ones, and, unfortunately, often indifferent times about times, other, bitter, but also happy when we were invincible and when our mothers saved their sons.
