The book discusses key aspects of transformation of subjectivity in European culture, due to other metamorphoses. Attention is concentrated on three problems that correspond to three parts of the monograph. The first part investigates the birth and formation of the cultural form of subjectivity, its connection with symbolism, historicality and transcendental. The second part is devoted to the discussion of the causes of the position of subjectivity in the New European and modern philosophy and the representation of subjectivity in culture as another. The third part investigates the importance of non -circulation determinants for the formation of subjectivity, and the main interest is not focused on the history of culture, but on the cultural ontogenesis of human subjectivity. An important place in the book is occupied by the problem of education.
The book is addressed to philosophers, historians, psychologists, sociologists - to everyone who is interested in the philosophical problems of the history of subjectivity in its relation to its constituent.
