The final novel of the epic trilogy of Maria Sosnovsky talks about the events of the first half of the 20th century. Together with the two previous books, “Eproilents” and “Damn”, the three -volume is a unique encyclopedia of life, traditions, customs, history, religious views and labor skills of the Russian people. On the example of the peasant family of Elpanovs, the author draws a picture of the history of Russia.

The act of the trilogy begins in 1724, and ends on May 9, 1945 - on the end of the Great Patriotic War.
