Master and Margarita. Bulgakov M.
“Master and Margarita” by M. A. Bulgakov is the most amazing and mysterious work of the twentieth century. Published in the mid-1960s, this novel struck readers with the unusual plan, colorfulness and fantastic action, uniting heroes of different eras and cultures. The author created a “novel in the novel”, where a religious-historical mystery is woven together, dating back to the legend of the crucified Christ, the Moscow “buffoonery” and supernatural scenes with characters embodying a certain dark power, which, however, “always wants evil and always performs good”.
“There is some kind of recklessness in this book, some kind of dying dazzling of great talent...”-wrote Konstantin Simonov in his preface to the first publication of the novel, who opened the whole world of a great artist, genuine master of the word. P>
