Mikhail Afanasevich Bulgakov (1891 - 1940) - Russian writer, playwright, author of novels, stories and stories - was born in Kyiv in a large family. A graduate of the medical faculty, Bulgakov worked in the hospitals of the front line during the First World War. Then he served as a rural doctor for two years. Later, as a military doctor went to the North Caucasus. The first newspaper publications of M. Bulgakov appeared in 1919 in Kyiv. In Moscow, he collaborates as a feuilletonist in various newspapers and magazines. From 1922 to 1926, more than 120 reports, essays and feuilletons were printed in the Gudok newspaper.
