The book of the Soviet philosopher-Marxist M. M. Rosental is an essay on clarification of the role of materialistic dialectics in the system of philosophical knowledge and the description of each of its basic laws. In the first chapter, a general introduction to materialistic teaching is given, the role of dialectics and its place in philosophy are clarified.
