The author opens the view of maternal folklore from the standpoint of his enduring pedagogical meanings and a special place in the modern educational environment. He invites teachers to the dialogue and proposes to identify the educational potential of maternal folklore as a starting “mechanism” of the development of a child of infant and early age, helps to design the content of five educational areas (in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard BC) in the process of introducing children to domestic culture. The book is included in the basic educational and methodological kit, accompanying the educational program "Teremok".
