Mathematical constructions. From huts to palaces. 3rd edition, supplemented. Shapovalov A.V.
The Thirteenth Book of the series “School Mathematical Circles” is devoted to the methods of inventing, building and researching mathematical structures. It is intended mainly for classes with schoolchildren of grades 6–8, but can also be used for senior students. In the continuation of the book “How to Build an example”, more powerful techniques for working with structures are considered here, showing how to come up with and design evidence. The book includes the development of seven classes of a mathematical circle with detailed examples of various complexity, tasks for independent solution and methodological instructions for the teacher. For the convenience of use, the final part, as always, was made in the form of handout.
The book is addressed to school teachers of mathematics and leaders of mathematical circles. The section “Additional tasks” has been expanded by 30 copyright tasks of Olympiads in recent years.
