The authors of this book - A. N. Kolmogorov and A. G. Dragachin - outstanding domestic mathematicians who had a deep influence on the style and direction of world research on the logic and philosophy of mathematics. Their textbook “Mathematical Logic: Additional chapters” is written on the basis of the course of mathematical logic, which was read by both authors at the Mechanical and Mathematics Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The presentation of the fundamental facts of modern logic (began the axiomatic theory of sets, the theory of algorithms, Gödel theorems of incompleteness, the program of Hilbert substantiation of mathematics) does not imply special training and is designed for a wide range of readers who are interested in mathematical logic and philosophical problems of modern mathematics.
