The training manual highlights the issues of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with the pathology of the maxillofacial region, anesthesiological support in dentistry, comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases, congenital and hereditary pathology of the maxillofacial region, injury to the bones of the facial skeleton and soft tissues, as well as diseases of the temporomandibular joint. The most common nosological forms of diseases of the maxillofacial region are presented in children, adolescents and adult patients, examination methods for inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region, jaw cysts, odontogenic sinusitis, lymphadenitis, traumatic, thermal, combined and combined damage to the marshacking of the marshy. The scientific and methodological principles laid down in the Federal State Educational Standard are reflected. Treatment methods are described using global surgery, plastic surgery for congenital malformations of the maxillofacial region and plasticity with soft tissues. Particular attention is paid to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of tumors and tumor-like formations, neuritis, neuralgia, pathology of the temporomandibular joint, specific inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region.
