In the book of memoirs “Meetings and Impressions”, Golovin describes in detail his creative circle, which included such vivid representatives of the culture of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries, such as S.P. Diaghilev, V. A. Serov, V. I. Surikov, K. A. Korovin, A. N. Benois, L. Bakst, 3. N. Gippius and others. Golovin is not limited to portraits of outstanding cultural figures, but recreates a picture of the Russian theatrical and artistic environment of the late XIX - early XX centuries.
