Melissa seeds "Lemon aroma", spice, 0.1 g
Melissa “lemon aroma” is an unpretentious perennial, reaching a height of 60 cm. The period from seedlings (or spring growing) to cutting greens lasts 40–45 days. Melissa can develop in one place for 3-5 years.
The leaves and young shoots have a refreshing lemon-so-ground aroma and a pleasant taste with a light piquant bitterness. The yield is 500 g in the first year of life and 1-2 kg in subsequent ones.
Use the plant in fresh and dried form as a seasoning for various dishes and as an additive to drinks.
Sowing for seedlings from late March to early April. Dive seedlings in the phase of 1-2 real leaves. Put the seedlings in open ground when the threat of frost passes. Sowing in open soil in May is possible to a depth of 0.5–1 cm. The lemon balm requires neutral in acidity of fertile drained soils and solar locations. Water, weed, loosen and feed the plant in a timely manner.
