"Honey Tong" is a mid -season melon variety, in which the period from the appearance of seedlings to the start of ripening lasts 80–90 days. Suitable for open ground and film greenhouses. Resistant to temperature changes and diseases of the sheet apparatus. 

Middle -fiber plants form rounded yellow fruits weighing 1.5–2 kg. The pulp is light-cream, crisp, delicate, juicy and weakly aromatic. Its high sugar content (8–9 %) is preserved in adverse conditions. 

Power the melon fresh as a dessert. 

Sowing for seedlings or in open ground. At seedlings, pinch the stem over 3-5 sheet. When keeping in greenhouses, tie the plants to the trellis and form in one stem. Remove all the side shoots up to 50 cm high, remove the subsequent ones after the 3rd sheet. In open ground, leave the first 3-4 ovaries, then pinch the top.
