Yakov Danilovich Mintchenkov (1871-1938) - Russian and Soviet painter, sculptor and teacher, student of N. A. Kasatkin and V. A. Serova, active participant in the partnership of mobile art exhibitions. A man of subtle taste, great sensitivity and keen observation, he left us a book of memoirs of artists-forwarding, first published back in 1940 and was very popular for many years.
