Memories of writers. Koni A.

Anatoly Fedorovich Koni (1844-1927) - lawyer, prosecutor, state and public figure, brilliant judicial speaker, honorary academician of the Imperial Academy of Sciences in the category of elegant literature. He was a witness and participant in the most important historical events for his time, knew many writers, scientists and public figures closely. In conversations with Koni, N. A. Nekrasov, A. N. Apukhtin, L. N. Tolstoy found material for their works. In the book “Memories of the Writers”, Koni acts as a kind of chronicle, telling about the outgoing era.
