Perennial bushy plant from the family of the sprout -flowered. Uprhing stems up to 65 cm in height. The leaves are oval, green with weak anthocyanic coloring. Blooms in July-August. It is used in fresh, dried and frozen form as a spice for salads, meat and fish dishes, sauces, suitable for decorating and serving the table. Fragrant mint is added to tea and various fruit drinks. Grow sowing in open ground and seedlings. Sowing in open ground is carried out from April to June, for seedlings - in March. To obtain friendly seedlings, it is desirable to stratify seeds at a temperature of +10C. Seeds are sown superficially, slightly pressed into the ground and covered with transparent material. They are planted with a distance between plants of 20-30 cm, between rows 40-50 cm. It prefers moist places, loose loamy soils.
