This publication presents the fundamental work of Aristotle (384–322 BC), an ancient Greek philosopher, one of the greatest thinkers of antiquity, a student of Plato and mentor Alexander Macedon. "Metaphysics" is a set of 14 books, united under one cover in the 1st century BC. e. Andronik Rhodes, who gave this collection the name (in the works of Aristotle the word "metaphysics" is absent). As amended by Andronik, the work of the philosopher has survived to this day. The “metaphysics” was based on the teachings of Aristotle about the four root causes (or the first -hand) of all things, which had a significant impact on the entire further development of philosophical thought.
