This collection includes the two most famous works by N. A. Berdyaev. “Metaphysics of Paul and Love” is a small but very important work of the philosopher, in which he describes two extreme approaches to the sex problem: vulgar sensuality and a conservative desire to curb the floor. N. A. Berdyaev also describes two types of love: sexual individual election - the merger of the beginning of courageous with eternal femininity, and Christian love.

“Self -knowledge” is a unique philosophical autobiography, in which the author tells about the history of Russia and the West of the first half of the 20th century, the formation of his philosophical views, about his contemporaries, and most importantly - about his life.
