Everyone knows what money is, but not all people know how to handle it. Many believe that the main thing is to make money, and it is always easy to spend it. As a result, the money is not enough for large purchases, or for unforeseen expenses.
The textbook “Fundamentals of financial literacy” helps to figure out how to manage money - to earn and spend, save and invest, defend themselves from financial risks and fraud, draw up a budget and a personal financial plan. The book tells how financial instruments (deposits, payment cards, loans, etc.) can help in a particular life situation. The main task is to teach the reader to critically evaluate financial proposals taking into account their advantages and disadvantages and make a conscious choice to achieve personal financial goals.
A textbook is intended for school students in the framework of the study of subjects “Social Studies” and “Economics”, as well as for additional lessons on the subject of financial literacy and use in the vocational education system.
The manual is approved by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
