The textbook consists of eight sections. It sets out methods of morphological, physiological studies of microorganisms, serological, immunological and molecular diagnostic methods. The book contains detailed material about pathogens of especially dangerous infectious diseases, mycoses and fodder mycotoxicosis. The sections are compiled and set out according to a single plan. On each topic, the theory of the issue is presented, materials and equipment, and the methodology of execution are described. Tasks for independent work and questions for monitoring knowledge are given. To all infectious diseases, mycosis and mycotoxicosis, section 8 shows laboratory diagnostics and specific prevention.
