The second, processed and updated edition of the textbook consists of 21 modules and applications. Modules 1-10 include a general course of microbiology, where the main methods of microbiological studies are considered. Modules 11-21 are devoted to the diagnosis of infectious diseases, information in them is given in accordance with the epidemic principle.
