This book is a course designed to familiarize yourself with the main facts that a pathologist should know and use in practical work. The chapters are built by organs and contain information about the receipt of the material, a description of the most common diagnoses, possible errors, practical tips, differential diagnosis and the basic requirements for the design of the diagnosis. The purpose of preparing the material was that any chapter could be read in 20 minutes, covering the key points of the topic. The concept of this book was born during a 2-year experiment conducted at the University of Jones Hopkins. At each lesson, the interns received practical tasks and about 20 micropreparations with the most common pathological processes in a particular organ. This book is a compilation of this course, supplemented by illustrations. In the interests of brevity and clarity of presentation, the authors deliberately went around some highly specialized issues in individual topics.
