Midnight garden. Graphic adaptation of the classical novel by Philippa Pierce. Edith
Graphic adaptation of the classics of English children's literature, the novel by Philippi Pierce “Tom and Midnight Garden” (1958), performed by the French artist Edith (Edith Grateri). His main characters are the boy and time. This is an exciting fantasy about Tom’s travels into the past, and ghost history, and a subtle philosophical parable about time and memory. Tom desperately misses, spending the summer holidays on quarantine in the house of relatives. So far, one day, the old clock in the corridor does not beat at midnight thirteen times. Tom turns out to be in the wonderful garden, meets in him the girl Hetty, whom he takes as a ghost, but does not scare at all. After all, it is better to play with a ghost in a ghost garden than spending time alone in a stuffy apartment.
