The publication is the first specialized study in order to identify the relationship of regulatory requirements for organizing military discourse with the quality of commander and headquarters thinking, approaches to organizing service and combat activities and combat effectiveness of troops. The publication analyzes the sources of military discourse: texts of military treatises, domestic and foreign military charters, military dictionaries and encyclopedias. It is noted that modern military institutional discourse in military dictionaries and encyclopedias is codified, regulated in military charters, and in military rhetoric is realized. The book is addressed to a wide range of readers - to everyone who is interested in military history, military rhetoric, military pedagogy and psychology.
