Chinonso is a young Nigerian farmer who passionately loves his birds. But one night he meets a woman on the bridge trying to jump into a muddy stream. Salvation becomes the beginning of love, but Chinonso is not at the same time. To achieve the hand of his lover, he sells all his property and goes to Cyprus to receive education. However, it soon turns out that he was brutally deceived: Chinonso remains alone in a foreign country - without money and without a roof over his head. Like Odysseus, he drifts further and further from his dream and home.
