Mixed Brak. Shpakov V.
The novel of the St. Petersburg writer Vladimir Shpakov proposes to plunge into the element of a long and passionate dialogue between the East and the West. This dialogue is revealed in the understanding of the tragedy that occurred in the Russian-German family in which a child was born with unusual abilities. Why not one of the parents could protect an extraordinary descendant? This is reflected in the prosperous German Kurt, who makes life go on a walking trip around Russia, and the Muscovite Vera, who is in her own way experiencing a family catastrophe.
The plot unfolds in two parallel plans filled with dramatic episodes and unexpected turns. The eternal theme of the “unity and struggle” of Russia and Europe is embodied in the version of a dynamic, fascinating and convincing narrative.
