Morphemal-complicating dictionary includes more than 2,500 words. The basis of the dictionary was primarily composite vocabulary, used in textbooks on the Russian language for elementary school. It presents the morphemic and word -formation structure of derivatives related to such parts of speech as the name of the noun, the name adjective, the verb and adverb. When compiling a dictionary, the alphabetical principle of presentation of material was used.

The dictionary is primarily intended for primary schoolchildren and primary school teachers of secondary schools, gymnasiums.
