Mikhail Bulgakov (1891–1940) - one of the most noticeable Russian writers of the first half of the 20th century. The novels and novels “White Guard”, “Master and Margarita”, “Dog heart” became classic, were translated into many languages ​​and repeatedly filmed in Russia and abroad. “Notes of a young doctor” and “Notes on the cuffs”, as well as the story “Morphiy”. They are based on the personal experience of the author, who worked as a rural doctor, theater director and feuilletonist in his youth. Bulgakov shows the formation of the personality of a young hero, overcoming his own imperfection, observing the surrounding life and sometimes looking into the most hidden corners of the human soul.
