Mr. Ripley. All novels. Haismit P.
Patricia Haismit (1921–1995) - an American writer, recognized master of the psychological detective. Peru Haismit owns 20 novels and several collections of stories. Haismit’s work served as a source of inspiration for a galaxy of talented filmmakers (Alfred Hitchcock, Rene Cleman, Vim Wenders, Liliana Cavani, Claude Miller, Anthony Mingella, Edrian Line and others), and also laid the road to modern cows Gillian Flins and the Hokins field. Glory collapsed to Patricia Haismit in 1950, immediately after the release of the debut novel “Strangers on the train”, based on which Hitchcock took off the thundering Noir. Five years later, a brilliant and absolutely real “talented Mr. Ripley” appeared in its inhumanity. Four continuations were later written.
Mr. Ripley is the most famous character and beloved by Antherieu Haismit. The friendly and charming volume of Ripley carefully hides his true “I”. In his strange, closed, irrational world of displaced moral values, a crime is just a game, a chess party. He justifies himself, and thanks to the writer's talent, Haismit does it convincingly. From an unfortunate guy with a dark past, Ripley gradually turns into a real monster, a cold -blooded killer who is not distinguished by a feeling of guilt, since the goal always justifies the means. Moreover, someone else pays for this.
