A brief musical dictionary is intended for students and teachers of children's music schools and art schools, teachers of the subject "Music" in secondary schools, as well as a wide range of amateur musicians. It consists of three sections.

The first section contains information about various directions of musical art, means of musical expressiveness, musical genres, forms, musical instruments, singing voices and various kinds of musical groups.

In the second section dedicated to outstanding composers and performers, tables with the listing of the most famous musical works and the indication of the year of their creation are also included.

The third section is a dictionary of musical terms.
