Archbishop Nikon (Nikolai Ivanovich Rozhdestvensky; 1851–1919) - Archimandrite, later Archbishop of Vologda and Totem, theologian and publicist. In his diaries, this most outstanding representative of the Russian Church at the beginning of the 20th century discusses many issues that he has encountered throughout his life, and gives them an assessment from the point of view of a true Christian.
