Alexei Aleksandrovich von Lampe was a member of the three wars-the Russian-Japanese, First World War, the Civil in Russia and an eyewitness of three more-civil war in Spain, the Soviet-Finnish and Second World War. During his long life, he went from a simple officer of the General Staff to the head of the Russian General-military union. The book proposed for the reader first publishes the surviving diary entries for the period 1919 - the beginning of 1920, dedicated to the civil war in the south of Russia, as well as a collection of articles by A. A. von Lampe “Ways of the Faithful”, telling about the ally of the general and the events of the first half XX century.
