My gulag

“My Gulag” is a book series of a video project of the Museum of the History of the Gulag. The first book included live certificates of those who survived the Gulag system and mass repressions. These are the hooking of the former prisoners of Soviet camps (hard labor, prisoners of forced labor and special camps), representatives of deported peoples, those who were born in the camp and spent the first years of life in the children's Barakeli, after the arrest of his parents, was sent to the orphanages of a special regime and the whole Life lived with the stigma of his son or daughter of the "enemy of the people." A video project has existed in the museum since 2013. During this time, we recorded more than 300 interviews in different regions of the country - from Moscow to Magadan, conducted shootings in Germany, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania.
