The main thing here is cases, meetings, emotions. Andrei Biljo has been living in Venice for more than fifteen years, and this book is his story about the experience of everyday interaction with the city and its inhabitants. Food and rituals around it are extremely important for Italians, it is not surprising that each chapter is written at the table of one of the Venetian restaurants or cafes. It is here that colorful city everyday life is concentrated, whose characters are waiters, passers -by and tourists, students and sailors.

Starting the story with some insignificant detail, the author leads us further to the streets, becoming a kind of conductor through the most secret corners.
